We grew up watching cartoon content from foreign countries but as entertaining and educative as they were, we couldn’t relate to their content.

Ubongo is a non-profit social enterprise that creates interactive edutainment for kids in Africa, using the technologies they already have. They entertain kids to learn and love learning. They are now found in Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi and Ghana. In all these countries, the cartoons aired are in the respective local language.

Ubongo Kids have managed to penetrate into the business for education, where they were able to introduce another form or alternative learning that people thought impossible in Africa.
