Chadema MP wins top award

Dar es Salaam. Chama cha Demokrasia na Maendeleo (Chadema) Special Seats Member of Parliament Sophia Hebron Mwakagenda (Mbeya) has been given a global honorary award in the category of “Women of the Decade in Public Life.”

She was honoured following her contribution in assisting women and children in Tanzania in the education, health and economic sectors.
Her efforts in assisting women on legal issues, including educating them on matters related to entrepreneurship as well as awarding them instruments such as tailoring machines, was also recognized.
