The bus, a property of Saratoga Company, was heading to Sumbawanga from Kigoma when it suddenly caught fire at Kazurambimba are, Kigoma.
“Though all the passengers escaped unscathed, some of them lost their properties due to the fire,” the Kigoma Regional Police Commander, Mr Martin Ottieno said.
The cause of the fire could be immediately established but Mr Ottieno said investigations were underway.
