CRDB offers details on Malkia account targeting women

The bank’s Oysterbay branch manager, Mr George Abraham, presented details of the Malkia Account to the annual general meeting of the Medical Women Association of Tanzania (Mewata) at the weekend, urging them to utilize its opportunities.

Dar es Salaam. CRDB Bank Tanzania outlined how it can facilitate access to loans by women through a special account.

The bank’s Oysterbay branch manager, Mr George Abraham, presented details of the Malkia Account to the annual general meeting of the Medical Women Association of Tanzania (Mewata) at the weekend, urging them to utilize its opportunities.

The account offers guaranteed short term financing throughout the saving plan of an individual, he said. Earlier at the opening of the meeting on Friday, Mewata said it planned to spend Sh32 billion to build a health facility for women and children.
