President John Magufuli laid the foundation stone for construction of the Sh258.3 billion ($112.8 million) and connecting roads to the surrounding parts of the city. The project to be implemented by GS Constructors from South Korea was set to be completed in 30 months from October 2018 and will be funded by the Tanzania government and credit facility from EOCF Fund and South Korea’s Exim Bank.
