Phoenix Assurance's new name is MUA Tanzania

Dar es Salaam. Phoenix Assurance of Tanzania has rebranded to MUA Tanzania as it reaffirms its commitment to continuous improvement and the provision of innovative, reliable, digital, and customer-centric insurance solutions.

The company said in a statement on December 7, that the rebranding initiative aligns with its regional strategy and its dedication to continuous improvement.

The statement said MUA Tanzania will maintain the highest standards of quality and professionalism in its ser-vice and insurance products.

The rebranding process, the company said, has been conducted with the utmost care and consideration for all stakeholders, working closely with the Tanzania Insurance Regulatory Authority (Tira), the Business Registra-tion and Licencing Agency (Brela), and the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) to ensure a seamless transition and compliance with all regulatory requirements.

“We look forward to working with the regulator and other stakeholders to continue building a strong insurance sector in Tanzania, delivering quality insurance solutions, and enhancing the service we deliver to the people of this country,” said the CEO of MUA Tanzania, Mr Jérôme Katz.

MUA Tanzania’s new logo and brand identity reflect the company’s commitment to progress, stability, and a forward-looking approach for the company that has operated in Tanzania for over 25 years and more than 110 years in East Africa.

“Our commitment to excellence, integrity, and customer satisfaction remains unwavering. With the rebranding to MUA Tanzania, we are not just changing our name; we are renewing our commitment to our clients and part-ners to deliver even better services and insurance solutions,” stated Mr Katz.”

MUA has pledged to contribute positively to the Tanzanian economy and the community it has served since 1999. “The company remains deeply committed to social responsibility initiatives and endeavours that benefit the people and society at large,” reads the statement.
