Apple to use Samsung cameras in upcoming iPhones

Apple, the renowned manufacturer of various communication devices, is reportedly planning a significant shift in its upcoming iPhones by incorporating Samsung cameras.

It has been revealed that Samsung will commence production of a new, more advanced sensor, marking a departure from the Exmor RS sensors by Sony, which are currently utilised in Apple’s devices.

The new sensor is expected to greatly enhance iPhone cameras by improving light capture and reducing the camera’s weight during use.

The iPhone 18, anticipated to launch in 2026, will be the first model to feature this new sensor. Alongside adopting Samsung cameras, some of Apple’s phones have also begun using USB-C chargers, akin to those employed by Samsung.
