Dar es Salaam. CFAO Mobility has introduced reliable transport solutions aimed at transforming the transportation of agriculture from farms to markets and processing industries in the country.
The transport solutions are also intended to facilitate the transportation of finished goods from industries to retailers and consumers.
The introduction was announced in Dodoma during the just-concluded Nane Nane International Agricultural Expo 2024, themed: Embrace Visionary Leadership for Agricultural Transformation.
President Samia Suluhu Hassan officially closed the event on Thursday, August 8, 2024.
Speaking to The Citizen, the company’s sales representative, Mr Isakwisa Kanyelela, said the solutions include Fuso Trucks models F1 and Canter.
He said the company aims to give Tanzanian farmers and traders a firsthand experience of their vehicles and demonstrate the benefits of owning a brand-new Fuso for their agricultural and trading needs.
“We are participating in the NaneNane Expo to reach more farmers and Agri traders and inform them about our Fuso brands and the after-sales services we offer to simplify their farming and trading processes,” said Mr Kanyelela.
“We have noticed that many farmers and traders lack the right information to make informed decisions. When they hear about zero-kilometre vehicles, they often think of the high cost of ownership without considering the reliability and after-sales benefits offered by CFAO Motors,” he added.
He said CFAO Motors was there to ensure that many farmers and stakeholders get a basic awareness of the agribusiness sector and allow them to experience vehicles firsthand through inspection and test driving.
The company’s director of sales and marketing, Ms Tharaia Ahmad, stated that they are embodying this theme by taking leadership in providing reliable transportation for the agriculture sector.
“We are taking on the challenge of transforming transportation in the sector by ensuring farmers and traders move away from unreliable solutions and adopt our reliable transport solutions,” said Ms Ahmad.
The 2024 Nane Nane International Agricultural Expo, which culminates on August 8th with the celebration of Farmers Day, was closed on Friday, August 8, 2024, by President Samia Suluhu Hassan.
The expo attracted thousands of businesses and institutions from various sectors, both domestic and international, making it arguably the biggest agricultural expo in Tanzania and East Africa.
FAO Mobility Tanzania is proud to be among the businesses and stakeholders that participated in the significant event, contributing to the development and transformation of Tanzania's agriculture sector.
