Dar es Salaam. A global cloud communications platform, Infobip, has been recognised as the leading provider among Established Leaders in the Artificially Inflated Traffic (AIT) Fraud Prevention market by Juniper Research.
The analyst firm ranked Infobip first out of 18 vendors in its Competitor Leaderboard for AIT Fraud Detection Solution Vendors 2024.
Juniper Research assessed vendors across 11 criteria, including market operations size, partnership breadth, market coverage, and product strength.
Infobip excelled in these areas, alongside three additional categories, securing its position as the top-ranking company. Infobip’s comprehensive AIT fraud detection and prevention solutions, including its ‘Infobip Signals’ tool, were highlighted as key contributors to its success.
The ‘Infobip Signals’ solution monitors phone number behaviour, ranges, and types to detect and prevent artificially inflated traffic, offering enterprises robust protection strategies.
A distinguishing feature of Infobip’s approach is its use of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) algorithms. These technologies enable automated detection and blocking of fraudulent one-time password (OTP) traffic, ensuring seamless protection for clients.
Commenting on the recognition, research analyst at Juniper Research, Mr Georgia Allen, said: “Infobip offers a comprehensive solution to combat AIT fraud, supported by a significant messaging client base to inform future detection and prevention strategies. Its expansion into North America and Western Europe is crucial, given the high levels of AIT fraud in these regions. Infobip’s ‘Signals’ tool is particularly effective in blocking AIT fraud, providing customisable levels of protection to meet enterprise needs.”
Vice president of business intelligence at Infobip, Mr Goran Juršić (pictured), expressed his gratitude for the accolade, stating: “Juniper Research’s recognition underscores Infobip’s exceptional capabilities in AIT fraud prevention.
With the support of our customers, we developed ‘Signals’ to identify fraud hotspots globally, saving our clients millions of dollars. We remain committed to innovation and investment in protecting our customers and the wider messaging ecosystem.”
Infobip’s solutions continue to play a critical role in combating AIT fraud, solidifying its leadership in the market and its commitment to safeguarding enterprises worldwide.
