Firm donates 500 cement bags to Mpwapwa Secondary School

Tanga. Tanga Cement PLC has donated 500 bags cement worth Sh6 million to one of the government’s oldest schools in the country, Mpwapwa Secondary School, in Dodoma. The company said it supported Tanzanian communities by sharing one per cent of its profit for education, health and environment. “As a company we are happy and proud to be part of Mpwapwa Secondary School’s history. Its infrastructure is not good for now and we help the government to provide better education as part of our social responsibility,” said the company’s logistic and distribution manager, Mr Samwel Shoo, during the handing-over event.
