“Our hope is actually to maintain or increase our market share which is currently over 70 per cent. We heavily invested in Tanzania for all 29 years of operating in the country and we intend to do more both in staff and infrastructure,” said the company’s managing director for Tanzania Mr Femi Olaiya yesterday. “Tanzania is one of the best countries for investment and we are still investing,” he said without disclosing the planned amount of investment in both long and short term. He said the firm was also investing by buying more motor vehicles but recently the focus has been on motor bikes due to traffic challenges especially in Dar es Salaam.

DHL operates in 220 countries worldwide.
