Tigo hands two brand new cars to grand winners of digital transaction campaign

Dar es Salaam. Tigo Tanzania has handed two new cars to the winners of the company’s campaign which meant to deepen digital transactions among its customers.
The award marks the culmination of the campaign dubbed “Magifti Dabo Dabo” which ran for 80 days since last November, motivated the customers pursue their goals with the rewards.
Chief Officer of Tigo Pesa, Ms Angelica Pesha, said during the grand prize handover ceremony on Thursday that the award expression of the company’s dedication to customer support.
“This initiative not only underscored our commitment to delivering exceptional products and services but also aimed to craft unforgettable moments and avenues for celebrating our customers while fostering opportunities for them to spread happiness among their nearest and dearest throughout the campaign,” she said.
Ms Cecilia Nduguru emerged the recipient of the grand prize, which is the Toyota Urban Cruise, accompanied by her sister who is the recipient of the Suzuki Fronx.
The campaign required the winner to nominate his closest person for the reward.
“This momentous occasion not only celebrates the spirit of generosity and companionship but also marks a milestone in our ongoing commitment to enriching the lives of our valued customers," said Ms Pesha.
Tigo’s director of marketing, Ms Edwardina Mgendi, emphasized the company’s dedication to expand modern technology to elevate user experience and drive the digital economy.
“With the launch of lightning-fast 5G technology and widespread 4G upgrades, Tigo paves the way for innovation in every corner," said Mr Mgendi.
During the campaign, customers garnered entries for numerous draws with each transaction conducted via Tigo Pesa.
