Hawa undergoes heart surgery

Few days after Hawa Said travelled to India for specialized treatment for an ailment that was initially believed to be a swollen liver; she has undergone a successful surgery. According to the team that travelled with her led by Diamond’s manager Babu Tale, the singer after undergoing a diagnosis instead underwent a heart operation that was successful.
“Everything went according to plan and she is now conscious and all we wish her is a speedy recovery,” wrote Babu Tale
The trip and the costs of the treatment which is believed to be in the tune of over Sh 50 million was funded by the WCB singer Diamond Platnumz.
Hawa’s association with Diamond dates back in 2010 when the two artistes collaborated in an emotional single ‘Nitarejea’ in the early days of the Wasafi CEO’s rise.
Though Diamond’s career took a meteoric rise, Hawa never rose beyond that collaboration and instead as rumor has it she descended into alcohol abuse.
