Nandy: I am the top female artiste in Tanzania

Dar es Salaam. If you thought there was not enough controversy around Nandy and her music then you are wrong.

The self proclaimed African Princess now claims she is the top female artiste in Tanzania above the likes of Lady Jaydee and Vanessa Mdee.

According to Nandy whose ‘Ninogeshe’ is doing well on airplay numbers don’t lie and she says her numbers are impressive despite the fact that she has respect for those artistes

“The number One female musician in Tanzania right now is me, what do you think?, go with numbers, go to YouTube, go to Subscriber, go everywhere, go with numbers. To get some of these things you have to look at some feasible things,” Nandy told Clouds TV.

“Before I got here, my Number One was Lady Jaydee and I respect the kind of work that she has done in our industry because she laid the foundation for some of us to succeed. You have to respect those who came before you,” said the singer who was embroiled in a nudity scandal in March.

But even then she insisted that such dynamics cannot remain constant forever, there is always a change in positions in this industry

Even when she was asked between Ruby and Vanessa Mdee, she still maintained that they came after her in the listings.
