“One of the skills we give them is the use of the loan. Before borrowing, you need to know what project you will use the money for and for what period. Our experts provide the education for free, and we are grateful to see that many have been able to achieve their goals,” said Mr Nalingigwa during a draw of the Kopa Tukubusti campaign, which enables the customers to win up to 50 percent of the borrowed money.
Five customers won cash prizes through the new campaign.
The customers are Lucas Skale from Kaliua, who won sh1.042 million; Spear Malipotea from Ba-bati, who won Sh3.02 million; and Pamela Kenyuko from Ushetu, who won Sh187,533. The oth-ers are Issa Kitangu from Kasulu, who won Sh147,872, and Fatuma Lugongo, who won Sh133,141.

Mr Nalingigwa congratulated the winners, whose cash prizes were deposited directly into their accounts.
The campaign is gaining momentum and asking their customers to take advantage of their loans to win various prizes and be able to help pay for various needs.
“We have set aside a total of Sh50 billion for lending to our customers. The customer can win an additional bonus of 50 percent of the amount of money borrowed through this new Kopa Tuku-busti campaign.
“The goal here is to change the lives of our customers. For example, a customer can borrow up to Shs 150 million, and if he wins through the Kopa Tukubusti campaign, he will be rewarded with Shs 75 million,” he said.
