Abigail Chams' love-infused “Me Too,” featuring the soulful harmonies of Harmonize, is turning heads and capturing hearts in both Kenya and Tanzania.

Premiering just 12 days ago, the track has quickly become a fan favourite, resonating with listeners from the very first strum of its guitar.

“Me Too” weaves an intimate narrative of passion and vulnerability as the duo trade heartfelt verses that speak to the highs and lows of love.

Their magnetic chemistry—reminiscent of their earlier hit “Furaha”—infuses the song with an authenticity that strikes a chord with audiences across East Africa.

Beyond their musical collaboration, dating rumours have been swirling since January. The 31-year-old Harmonize and 21-year-old Abigail have been spotted in cosy settings, sparking speculation of a budding romance.

Fans even noted that Harmonize’s phone wallpaper features an image of Abigail, while a playful video of Abigail showcasing nail art with the letter “R”—a nod to Harmonize’s real name, Rajabu—only added fuel to the fire.

A sweet moment where Harmonize serenaded Abigail during a car ride further hinted at a deeper bond between the two.

The track’s success isn’t confined to radio airwaves alone. “Me Too” has gone viral on TikTok, with Tanzanians and Kenyans using its catchy lyrics as a soundtrack to their own love stories.

Just a week ago, Abigail expressed her heartfelt gratitude to fans, saying, “From a girl who lives for music, these moments are surreal to me. I want to thank everyone who has been a solid partner in my journey—‘Me Too’ is the biggest song in my country on all platforms!”

With over 1.6 million views on YouTube since its release, it tops YouTube’s trending list in both Kenya and Tanzania.
