  • Some of Alikiba’s most streamed hits include fan favourites like ‘Mahaba’, ‘Utu’, ‘Hatari’ featuring Jay Melody, ‘Sumu’, and ‘Top Notch’ featuring Marioo.

Tanzanian music star Alikiba has hit a major milestone, surpassing 200 million streams on Boomplay.
This achievement places him among the top tier of Bongo Flava artistes, cementing his legacy as one of the genre’s all-time greats.
Some of Alikiba’s most streamed hits include fan favourites like ‘Mahaba’, ‘Utu’, ‘Hatari’ featuring Jay Melody, ‘Sumu’, and ‘Top Notch’ featuring Marioo.
These tracks have resonated with audiences across East Africa and beyond, contributing to his growing influence in the music scene.
The milestone comes hot on the heels of his recently released EP ‘Starter,’ a seven-track project that has been making waves in the Tanzanian music industry.
The EP has further solidified Alikiba’s position as a powerhouse in the Bongo Flava genre.
This accomplishment aligns Alikiba with his peers and rivals, including Diamond Platnumz, who leads the pack with an impressive 471 million streams, continuing to reign as the king of the charts.
Trailing behind Diamond is the ‘Single Again’ hitmaker, Harmonize at 359 million streams, followed by WCB’s Zuchu at 349 million streams.
Others in these elite circles include Rayvanny, who stands at 334 million streams, Jay Melody with 330 million, Mbosso with 311 million, Marioo with 233 million.
And now Alikiba with 201 million streams.
Alikiba’s latest feat is a testament to his enduring appeal and consistency in the highly competitive Bongo Flava industry.
