Basata urges artistes to make good use of ACCES

The Tanzania Arts Council Secretary General  Kedmon Mapana has urged artists and investors in the music industry to make good use of a two-day conference that is expected to bring together over 2,000 stakeholders from various countries, with Tanzanian artist 'Marioo' set to perform on the final day.

The Access conference, which is organized by the government in collaboration with the Music In Africa Institute, is scheduled to take place on November 8 and 9 at the Mlimani City Hall in Dar es Salaam.

Dr. Mapana said that the government and the institute have prepared a conference that will be accompanied by entertainment from various artists around the world, with the aim of building and developing the music industry in Tanzania.

He said that the conference is expected to involve artists, music producers, label owners, and music stakeholders from different countries.

He added that the conference is taking place in the country for the second time, and that its aim is to ensure that it brings together artists and various stakeholders to ensure that they achieve their goals, including selling their work online and abroad.

"The government, under the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Sports, has organized an artists' conference that will be accompanied by entertainment, with the aim of bringing Tanzanian artists closer to various stakeholders to ensure that they collaborate in their work, including selling it online and abroad," said Dr. Mapana.

For his part, Music In Africa Institute Director Eddie Hatitye said that the conference will involve more than 2,000 stakeholders from various countries.

He said that the conference will help artists to build close relationships with various music stakeholders in order to benefit from the work they do every day. For the first time, there will be singeli artists at the conference after the music gained many fans in the country.

The festival, which has been held in various countries, including South Africa, Kenya, and Ghana, is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year.

In addition to Marioo, other artists who will perform at the conference are Christian Bella, Hussen Mashaka 'Balaa Mc', Maya Christinah 'Sho Madjozi, and Damian Soul.
