Bongo Flava songstress Haitham has died

Dar es Salaam. Bongo Flava artiste Haitham Kim passed away on Friday, September 1, at Temeke Hospital in Dar es Salaam, her management has confirmed.

Taking to his social media account, her manager known as Ben Q, posted Haitham’s photo with the caption "Rest in peace.

The up and coming singer’s condition changed suddenly seven days ago; doctors said she was suffering from respiratory problems, including pneumonia.

Close family shared that she suddenly fell ill with fever, but later she started to have problems with breathing.

“We took her to the hospital, and she stayed in a normal ward for a few days, breathing with the help of an oxygen machine, until four days ago, when her health deteriorated and she was taken to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU),” said her husband Boshen.

Her family, close friends, and fellow artists launched a campaign to help the late artist with hospital bills.

A few days ago, Konde Gang CEO Harmonize called for an immediate push with Haitham’s medical bills.

Fans and fellow artists share their sadness and encourage the family.

Haitham was well known for her several songs, including her recent tracks ‘Hakutaki’, ‘Dubai’, ‘I Wish," "Utamu, featuring Young Lunya, and ‘I Love You.
