Darassa set to drop highly anticipated album next Friday

Tanzanian rapper Darassa has officially confirmed the release of his new album, Take Away The Pain, set to drop on February 7, 2025.

Taking to his Instagram, Darassa expresses that this album is a labour of love, created specifically for his dedicated fans. He emphasises that it is the best work he's ever produced, designed to uplift and entertain.

The Mind Your Business hit marker shares that the album will feature a total of 15 tracks, including collaborations with some of the biggest names in the African music scene, including Alikiba, Harmonize, Mbosso, Zuchu, Bien, Jay Melody, Jovial, and many others.

Among the standout tracks on the album are the highly anticipated collaborations: "Mazoea" featuring Harmonize, "Romeo" with Zuchu, and "Looking For Love" with Mbosso.

Darassa shares, "Thank you so much, my brothers and sisters, for collaborating with us. Together, we’ve created something truly amazing for our people. You’ve given us strength, heart, time, and your expertise, and we understand how valuable it is for someone to give that."

The album has been carefully crafted with the help of several talented producers, including Kaniba Creator, Kapipo Beats, Blvcq Igbo6, FoxxMadeIt, Trone, S2Kizzy, and Abbah.

The mixing and mastering of the project were done by The Mix Killer, ensuring the highest quality sound for all the tracks.
