The talented director breathed his last on May 5, 2024, while undergoing treatment at the Muhimbili Orthopaedic Institute (MOI) in Dar es Salaam.

Khalfani began his journey in directing and color grading at a young age, but it was around 2015 when he rose to prominence.

His notable works include the video for Jah Prayzah Ft Harmonize's "Ndoenda Newe," among many others.

Unfortunately, Khalmandro faced health challenges later in life. He was hospitalized at Lugalo Hospital before being transferred to Muhimbili and then MOI after suffering a stroke, which left him paralyzed on his right side.

This condition severely affected his speech and movement, yet he continued to inspire with his dedication to his craft.

His latest projects included the music video for "Nyota" by Linah and an advertisement for the new football jersey of the Zanzibar national team, featuring the isle's President Hussein Ali Mwinyi.
