Music video director Nisher has died

Dar es Salaam. Renowned Tanzanian music video director, artist, music producer, and songwriter Nic Davie, aka Nisher, tragically passed away on Tuesday, December 12.

The news of his sudden demise sent shockwaves through the Bongo Flava music scene and beyond.

Nisher's family confirmed the news through a heartfelt message on GeorDavieTv's Instagram account, a Christian media channel led by his father, GeorDavie.

The post shared a photo of Nisher alongside a message stating, "The GeorDavie family regrets to announce the passing of their beloved son, Nic Davie (Nisher), which occurred last night at 2:09 am. The funeral ceremony will be held at the Kisongo residence in Arusha, Tanzania."

While details surrounding Nisher's death remain private out of respect for the family's wishes, an old friend, Gentriz, confirmed that the funeral is scheduled for Saturday.
