Ommy Dimpoz sets his sights on billionaire status, addresses reconnection with Diamond Platnumz

Dar es Salaam. Just two weeks after Bongo Fleva star Diamond Platnumz declared his grand dream of becoming the richest person in the world, fellow artist Ommy Dimpoz has revealed his own ambition to become a billionaire.

Dimpoz shared that his primary goal is to attain billionaire status, aiming to live well and support those close to him.

"Diamond Platnumz's dream of being the world's richest person is his own aspiration. You never really know how someone plans or what they have in mind. For me, my dream is simply to become a billionaire so I can help those around me and live a good life. Everyone has their own plans and dreams. Even though Diamond's goal of being the richest person in the world seems grand, maybe he could just aim to be the richest in Tandale, where there’s a place called 'Duniani,'" Dimpoz said with a laugh. ‘Duniani’ is the Kiswahili word for the ‘World’.

Dimpoz also addressed his renewed closeness with Diamond Platnumz, attributing it to new business opportunities and connections.

He explained that although he and Diamond were once very close, they had drifted apart as they pursued their individual paths. However, recent developments have brought them back together due to shared business dealings and connections with various companies.

"It’s true that Diamond and I were close in the past, but we lost touch for quite some time as we were both busy with our own things. Now, we've reconnected because we're being introduced to various business opportunities from different companies. For instance, when a company needs to collaborate, and Diamond is involved, I’m often there too. This has naturally brought us back together, as you can see," Dimpoz explained.

Additionally, Dimpoz revealed that he and Diamond have already completed several music projects together, with plans to release them one after another.
