Tanzanian TikTok sensation Fanuel John Masamaki, popularly known as Zerobrainer0, has been named among TikTok's top content creators to watch in 2025, joining an exclusive list of digital stars from Sub-Saharan Africa.
With an impressive 12 million followers, Zerobrainer0 earned a spot in the Innovators category, which recognises content creators who push creative boundaries and bring fresh, bold perspectives to their craft.
Known for his hilarious take on football content, Zerobrainer0 has won the hearts of many by blending sports analysis with comedy.
His signature beige blazer and unique storytelling style make his videos instantly recognisable, proving that football commentary can be both entertaining and engaging.
Zerobrainer0 is the winner of the Sports Creator of the Year award at the TikTok Awards Sub-Saharan Africa 2024, held in South Africa on 8th February 2025.
He outshone the dynamic duo Miguel & Ash Pregueiro, who are well known for their engaging football banter and insightful analysis. Notably, Zerobrainer0 is the first Tanzanian to receive this accolade.
East Africa’s presence on the list also includes Kenyan tech creator Roy Kanyi, recognised in the Educators category. Meanwhile, South African duo TitoM and Yuppe secured a place in the Originators category for their trendsetting content, which continues to shape digital culture.
