Bongo fleva artistes gear up for Dar concert

Dar es Salaam. Bongo fleva superstars and groups, including Ali Kiba, Lady Jaydee, Juma Nature, Madee, Yamoto Band, Snura and Eskide, will be among key figures at Serebuka Music concert this weekend.
Revelers will be entertained to a live performance as the artistes will hit the ground in an event organised by StarTimes.
The concert set for Saturday at Posta grounds, Kijitonyama in the city, is aimed at celebrating two years anniversary of StarTimes Kiswahili channel.
StarTimes Tanzania assistant marketing director Damien Li noted that they want to celebrate with their customers over the achievements attained by the company’s Kiswahili channel broadcasted in Tanzania in Kenya.
“This year, StarTimes Kiswahili channel celebrates two years since it was firstly introduced back on August 1, 2014,” he said.
This channel provides artistes in East Africa with an ideal opportunity to showcase their skills.
“Most of the programmes on this channel covers areas such as life styles, fashion, foods and entertainment for people in the region, particularly Tanzania and Kenya.” Said Mr Li
He assured music fans that the artistes and bands lined up for the concert were in serious preparations, looking forward to put the audience to the ecstasy.
