Morogoro. CCM Secretary-General Emmanuel Nchimbi, has called on workplace administrators and human resource personnel to uphold fairness and avoid oppressive practices towards employees.

Addressing attendees at the World Human Resources and Administration Professionals Day celebrations on Monday, May 20, 2024, in Morogoro region, Nchimbi stressed the importance of respecting employees' rights and entitlements as outlined by law and regulations.

Highlighting the significance of their roles, Nchimbi urged administrators and HR professionals to refrain from acting as 'gods' and prioritizing personal interests over their responsibilities.

As the guest of honor, Nchimbi urged members of the Tanzania Human Resources and Administration Professionals Association (THRAPA) to fulfill their duty in assisting employees in obtaining their rights and benefits.

He emphasized the need for merit-based promotions and rewards, advocating for fair treatment and against nepotism or bribery for personal gains.

Additionally, Nchimbi directed the Minister of State for Public Service Management and Good Governance to address challenges faced by public sector HR professionals, including obstacles preventing their participation in THRAPA activities.

Accepting THRAPA's request for patronage, Nchimbi pledged support for the establishment of a Professional Board within the association, reaffirming CCM's commitment to ensuring its success through collaboration.
