Dar-es-Salaam. The Coca-Cola Company has announced the launch of the Coca-Cola Food Fest, an exciting event that promises to be a feast for the senses.

Running from September 9 to November 23, 2024, the festival will take place at street level across various locations in Tanzania, celebrating the country’s rich culinary heritage with a blend of food, music, and entertainment.

The Coca-Cola Food Fest aims to showcase Tanzania’s diverse and delectable food scene. Attendees will have the chance to explore a wide array of local food vendors, interact with celebrities and chefs, and participate in cooking demonstrations and masterclasses.

Each dish will be expertly paired with Coca-Cola beverages, enhancing the overall dining experience.

“We are delighted to introduce the Coca-Cola Food Fest, a unique celebration that underscores our commitment to uniting people through shared experiences and delicious food,” said Kabula Nshimo, senior Manager of Marketing at Coca-Cola Tanzania.

“This festival is a fantastic opportunity for us to engage with our consumers, celebrate culinary innovation, and demonstrate how Coca-Cola complements a variety of foods.”

Jonathan Jooste, the acting General Manager of Coca-Cola Kwanza, added, “Our goal is to foster growth for both our business and the communities we serve across Tanzania. By partnering closely with local vendors and chefs, we aim to create exciting food and beverage pairings that highlight regional flavors and enhance the consumer experience. The Coca-Cola Food Fest provides a platform to showcase these collaborations and develop new, delightful combinations.”

Festivalgoers can look forward to a diverse range of food stations offering gourmet dishes, street food classics, and innovative fusion creations. Renowned chefs will lead live cooking demonstrations and masterclasses, sharing their expertise and recipes that incorporate Coca-Cola products. The event will also feature live musical performances and entertainment acts to keep the atmosphere lively and engaging.

In addition, Coca-Cola is introducing a new loyalty program called Food Pass. This culinary passport allows attendees to collect stamps from different vendors and stores to earn points. Collecting more stamps will unlock rewards, including exclusive merchandise and tickets to the grand finale event.
