Dar es Salaam. While the Justice Shabaan Lila Commission investigating the 2025 election violence is ongoing, the opposition party Chadema has stated it will not cooperate with the process.
This marks the second commission regarding the October 29, 2025 events that Chadema has rejected; following the earlier Commission of Inquiry led by retired Judge Mohamed Chande Othman, which probed the unrest during and after the 2025 General Election.
