Lulu left the Home Affairs Ministry on Wednesday at 10:15 in the morning.

She had been there since 6 a.m. cleaning on the 4th floor, according to cleaners at the building.

The young actress, who was convicted in 2017 of culpability for the death of actor Steven Kanumba in 2012, and sentenced to two years, will be cleaning floors, wiping windows, and scrubbing toilets at the Ministry of Home Affairs in Dar es Salaam until November this year.

Speaking to The Citizen on Tuesday, Director at National Probation Service Mr Charles Nsanze said Lulu will join nine others, doing the same kind of community service at the Ministry’s premises.Photo|Eric Boniface

On the third day of her community service, her hair was tied up on a bun.

Holding a brown handbag, she entered a black salon car that had come to pick her up and sat on the back.

These are the first images of the young actress since she was released.
