Fire outbreak leaves four people dead in Zanzibar

Zanzibar. Four people died after a fire that broke out at night destroyed the house they were living in at Fumba  on the outskirts of Unguja in Zanzibar.

The Mjini Magharibi Police Commander (RPC), Hassan Nasri Ali, confirmed the tragic incident during an interview with The Citizen on Saturday, October 21.

The fire is believed to have been caused by an electrical fault.
