Government to release 10-year ICT plan, says Nape Nnauye

Dar es Salaam. Minister of Information, Communication, and Information Technology Mr Nape Nnauye said his ministry is at the final stage of releasing a 10-year plan for the National Digital Economy Framework 2023/2033.

In addition to that in the next three and six months the government plans to release the National ICT Policy And Startups Policy, Digital Public Infrastructure Blueprint Policy,  Digital Strategy, And National ICT Development Plan. 

“We will continue to invest in expanding the ICT infrastructure and the internet connectivity to bridge the digital divide and ensure connectivity reaches every corner of our nation,”

He was speaking on June 20, 2023, at the 11th Mwananchi Thought Leadership Forum (MTLF) titled: Investing in Digital Transformation for a Sustainable and Inclusive Future: Vision 2025.
