Jamii Forums’ Melo to serve one year non-custodial sentence

Dar es Salaam. The Kisutu Resident Magistrate's Court has on Tuesday November 17, sentenced Jamii Forums CEO Maxence Melo to one year non-custodial sentence after he was found guilty of obstructing police officers from conducting their duties

The court also acquitted Micke Mushi, after the prosecution failed to prove the charges against him

The verdict was handed down today, November 17, 2020 by the Kisutu Resident Magistrate Huruma Shaidi, when the case was called for the reading of the Judgment.
