Kibaha Education Centre launches new board

This was said by the director of the Kibaha Education Centre, Dr Cyprian Mpemba, at the launch of the Board in Kibaha Town.

Kibaha. The new board of the Kibaha Education Centre in Coast Region has vowed to execute its duties efficiently and on time to bring about tangible developments.

This was said by the director of the Kibaha Education Centre, Dr Cyprian Mpemba, at the launch of the Board in Kibaha Town.

 He said the Board comprises 11 members and that priorities in the initial responsibilities would include reviewing and implementing things that were strategised but were awaiting decision-making.

 "Some of the things that were awaiting decision-making include satisfying ourselves on the issue of beneficial investment for Tanzanians because that is the major concept about reducing poverty, particularly on the land of this Centre,” he said.

 According to him, the areas that await implementation trough local and foreign investment is the construction of small scale industries, a dry port  and  750 houses that will be sold to employees. The construction of the houses, which will cost Tsh2 bil, is expected to start in November, this year.
