Magufuli makes reshuffles in ministerial, local authorities

- In a televised event President Magufuli among others, he appointed Prof Joseph Buchweshaija as Permanent Secretary of the Industry, Trade and Investment, who replaced Prof Elisate Ole-Gabriel who has been moved to the Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries.
Dar es Salaam. President John Magufuli on Saturday, July 28, 2018 made some changes in leadership positions in ministerial and local authorities.
In a televised event President Magufuli among others, he appointed Prof Joseph Buchweshaija as Permanent Secretary of the Industry, Trade and Investment, who replaced Prof Elisate Ole-Gabriel who has been moved to the Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries.
He also appointed Kinondoni Regional Commissioner Mr Ally Hapi a new Iringa Regional Commissioner. The president also appointed popular socialite, Ms Jokate Mwingelo a new Kisarawe district commissioner.
The President also appointed some politicians, who defected from the opposition to the ruling CCM as District Commissioners. They are Mr Moses Machali (Nanyumbu) and Petrobas Katanbi (Dodoma).
The President has also appointed former Tanzania Broadcasting Corporation (TBC) reporter Mr Jerry Muro as the new Arumeru District Commissioner.
The President also appointed former Chadema cadre, who defected to the ruling party Mr David Kafulila as Songwe Regional Administrative Secretary (RAS).
