MV. Magogoni resumes its operations

Dar es Salaam. MV. Magogoni which plies its trade between Magogoni and Kigamboni has resumed its operations after four months of major renovations.
The ferry resumed its operations earlier today. Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Works, Transport and Communication (works) Mr Joseph Nyamuhanda, who flagged off the ferry, said MV. Magogoni will ease transport woes for Kigamboni residents.
“Mv Kigamboni has resumed its operations and it is my hope that transport woes, which Kigamboni residents were encountered since the ferry stopped its operations in May to pave way for major renovations,” said Mr Nyamuhanda.
The PS also revealed that a new ferry, which is currently under construction, will start its operations between Magogoni and Kivukoni in November.
