Necta releases Form Six results for 2023

Unguja. The National Examinations Council of Tanzania (Necta) has on Wednesday, July 13, released the results of the Form Six examinations, saying the pass rate had increased by 0.26 percent.

Announcing the results in Zanzibar today, the acting secretary of the council, Dr Said Mohamed said that the total number of candidates registered to sit for the exam were 106,883; 47,340 girls and 59,543 boys.

According to him,  99.23 percent of the candidates have passed.

The girls who passed are 46,707, equal to 99.51 percent, while the boys who passed are 57,843 equal to 99 percent.

In 2022, 93,136 candidates equal to 98.97 percent, passed the exams.
