New Veta technology to raise vegetable output

Speaking at Veta pavilion at the Mwalimu Nyerere Trade Fair grounds yesterday, a Veta official, Fredrick Uliki, said the technology has become necessary because of the growing demand for vegetables both locally and internationally, especially for urban dwellers.

 Dar es Salaam. Morogoro-based Vocational Educational and Training Authority (Veta) has come up with a technology dubbed ‘vertical vegetable farming’ which will enable urban residents who have limited space to engage in kitchen gardening .
