Dar es Salaam. Norwegian minister responsible for International Development Nikolai Astrup is expected into the country from November 27 to 30 with a view to strengthening bilateral relations.
During the visit, Mr Astrup is scheduled to meet President John Magufuli, minister for Finance and Planning Dr Phillip Planning, minister for Foreign Affairs and East Africa Cooperation Dr Augustine Mahiga, minister for State in the Vice President’s Office (Union and Environment) January Makamba and the commissioner general for the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) Charles Kichere.
A statement issued yesterday by the ministry of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation said the meetings focus on how the two countries can strengthen cooperation particularly in the areas of revenue collection, environment, energy and agriculture.
