President Samia appoints new ATCL boss, as Matindi retires

Dar es Salaam. President Samia Suluhu Hassan, has appointed  Peter Ulanga as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of national carrier, Air Tanzania Limited (ATCL)

Mr Ulanga, who takes over from the retiring Ladislaus Matindi, brings a wealth of experience to the position.

His appointment, effective from November 9, 2024, is expected to steer the national carrier towards continued growth and success.

The appointment was confirmed in a statement from the Chief Secretary, Dr. Moses Kusiluka, which also announced other leadership changes in the country, including the appointment of Prof Harun Jeremia Mapesa as the Director of the Nyerere Memorial Academy.
