The 7th "Atoms Empowering Africa" online video competition is now open, offering a unique platform for young minds to explore the potential of nuclear energy for the continent's future.
Rosatom, the Russian state corporation specializing in nuclear energy, is inviting students and young professionals aged 18-35 to unleash their creativity and showcase their vision for how nuclear technology can benefit Africa. The theme for this year's competition is "Benefits of Nuclear Energy in Africa."
The winning teams, chosen by a jury of esteemed experts, will embark on an unforgettable journey to Russia.
They'll witness world-renowned landmarks and delve into the heart of nuclear science, visiting facilities at the forefront of technological advancements.
This firsthand experience will provide invaluable insights into the transformative potential of nuclear energy for improving lives and driving sustainable development.

Since its inception in 2015, "Atoms Empowering Africa" has empowered over 60 young talents, with one-third experiencing the wonders of Russian nuclear facilities. Featured in prominent media outlets like The Citizen and Reuters, the competition has become a beacon of inspiration for African youth.
