According to Municipal Mayor, Pascal Kihanga the area has all important services and good infrastructure to facilitate the traders.

Morogoro. The Morogoro Municipal Council will transfer small scale traders (machinga) from Kikundi open market ‘mart’ on Saturday to NaneNane farmers exhibition grounds. 

According to Municipal Mayor, Pascal Kihanga the area has all important services and good infrastructure to facilitate the traders.

He said previously the Kikundi auction was conducted on the Nanenane grounds, but it was transferred back to Kikundi for various reasons.

He also said the municipal wants to transfer vegetables and fruits vendors selling their goods along major roadsides in the city centre to Kikundi which is allocated to food vendors.
