“I have no doubt that all of us understand and accept the role that has been played by the university in planting useful skills and knowledge in various disciplines, as initiated by the late Mwalimu Julius Kambarage Nyerere,”

The Vice Chancellor Prof Rwekaza Mukandala, asked the graduates to make the better use of knowledge that they have acquired for the betterment of the country and individual development.

“We expect you to be ambassadors of our institutions wherever you may be posted,” he said.

The event was preceded by the installation of the Former President Jakaya Kikwete as the university’s new chancellor.
