The curtain raiser of the spectacle features a captivating clash between the football squads of the Tanzanian Parliament and the Zanzibar House of Representatives.

This prelude not only sets the stage for the main event, but also symbolises unity and camaraderie as both sides participate in the spirit of celebration.

Simba SC, under the guidance of head coach Abdelhak Benchikha, is on the brink of a historic triumph.

This marks Benchikha's first finals since assuming the coaching reins, and he is hungry for his inaugural silverware with the team.

Reflecting on the upcoming challenge, Benchikha exuded confidence in his players, emphasising their readiness and determination to secure victory.

"We are ready for the match, and our main target is to win. It is going to be a tough game against Mlandege FC, who are a formidable side," remarked Benchikha.

For his part, Mlandege FC head coach Ramadhan Khamis, acknowledged the daunting task at hand but expressed unwavering belief in his team's capabilities.

"We are going to play against a tough team, but our players are well-focused, and I am confident we will emerge victorious in the encounter," Khamis stressed, highlighting the resilience and determination of his squad.
