“No fans in the stadium means no intimidating crowd, which helps my players stay calm and focused. However, we still expect a tough game,” adds Davids.

Simba’s Media and Communication Manager, Ahmed Ally, confirms the team’s safe arrival in Tunisia and expresses confidence in their readiness.
“Every player is motivated and understands the importance of this match. Fans back home should keep the team in their prayers as we aim to surprise our hosts,” says Ally.
Midfielder Fabrice Ngoma echoes this sentiment, stressing the need to correct mistakes from their previous away match against CS Constantine.
“We need to win this match to strengthen our chances of advancing to the quarterfinals. This is an opportunity to showcase our determination and pride as a club,” says Ngoma.
New addition to the squad
Winger Elie Mpanzu, among the 22 players travelling to Tunisia, makes his CAF Confederation Cup debut after joining the squad during the January transfer window. Mpanzu brings added depth to Simba’s attack and offers a new dimension to their game.
