Dar es Salaam. At the glitzy night of the Taxpayers’ Apprecia­tion Day 2025 edition organized by the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) at Masaki’s Super Dome in the city, Puma Energy received a quadruple accolades to enter a club of the multi-award winners of the same.

Winner for Company’s Substantial Taxes and Duties paid for the financial year 2023/24 award won by Puma Energy.

Most of us could definitely envi­sion this remarkable triumph com­ing, but never in four-folds fashion, translating into the energy firm’s capabilities to continue to win even out of any one’s expectations.

Stealing the show with such sil­verware is a clear testament to the stark performances and decorated trust the customers have in Puma Energy across the years.

Overall Winner for Company’s Substantial Taxes and Duties paid for the financial year 2023/24 in Customs and Excise award won by Puma Energy.

Puma Energy emerged as the Overall Customs Compliant Tax­payer, Compliant Taxpayer in Oil and Gas Marketing Sector, Wet Car­go Importer (Timely Payment of Taxes and Duties) and Company’s Substantial Taxes and Duties paid for the financial year 2023/24.

Some top officials from the Government including; National Assembly speaker Tulia Ackson, Finance Minister Mwigulu Nchemba and his deputy, Hassan Ham­ad, Finance Ministry’s Permanent Secretary, Dr Natu El-Maamry Mwamba, BoT Governor Emma­nuel Tutuba and TRA Commission­er General Yusuph Juma Mwenda and other senior officials attended the award-giving ceremony.

Most Compliant Taxpayer in Oil and Gas Marketing Sector award won by Puma Energy.

Speaking at the event, Puma Energy Managing Director Fatma Abdallah said they were excited to have collected those trophies, com­menting that:

“We really thank TRA and the Government for this prestige and their cooperation in stimulating social and economic growth for the nation’s development,” She expressed gratitude while noting;” These awards solidify our market position and reaffirm our strong commitments towards energizing communities efficiently.”

The CEO pledged to use the col­lected prizes as benchmarks for improvement and continued zeal for growth.

Wet Cargo Importer (Company’s Timely Payment of Taxes and Duties paid for the financial year 2023/24 award won by Puma Energy.
