The Consumer Choice Awards Africa (CCAA) is gaining momentum as companies strengthen their advertising efforts and improve the quality of their products, according to founder Diana Laizer.

"Most consumers are now able to identify and choose the best quality products, unlike in the past," Laizer said during a press conference.

"When we introduced consumer awards in 2019, most companies did not have the culture of advertising their products; similarly, consumers could not differentiate between quality products," she said.

The CCAA is an annual event that seeks to acknowledge and award the best service providers in the country through a consumer voting system. The voting system will open from October 9 to November 2, and consumers can vote once for each subcategory during the whole process.

Auditax internal senior information system auditor Alex Mzanda said that they ensure the credibility of the voting process.

"Customers should not hesitate to vote, as it gives them an opportunity to choose the preferred company and the product they like," he said.
