Dar es Salaam. Bongo Flava superstar Diamond Platnumz has thrilled fans by announcing the release of his new album before the start of the Holy Month of Ramadan.

The yet-to-be-titled album is already generating significant buzz, with Diamond hinting it will redefine his artistic legacy and set new standards in the music industry.

Taking to his Instagram stories, the award-winning artiste shared his excitement and confidence in the upcoming project.

"A Bongo Flava album before the Holy Month of Ramadan," he teased, igniting anticipation among his millions of followers.

Diamond, whose hits such as Yatapita and Zuwena dominated charts, boldly claimed this new album would outshine his previous works.

“Forget Zuwena, Yatapita is just trash,” he wrote, hinting at a bold evolution in his sound and creativity.

The Komasava hitmaker also used the announcement to reassert his dominance in the industry.

"I want to remind everyone why I was loved," he declared, promising fans an unforgettable musical experience.

Diamond is one of the few artistes, who has achieved immense success in Bongo Flava due to his unique approach to music.

To add more flavour to his art, he has collaborated with international stars, which has propelled his journey toward realising his dreams.

If you recall, last year, Diamond shared snippets of several unreleased songs, some of which included collaborations with renowned international artistes.

Fans are now expecting this new album to answer questions about his international tours, where he hinted at working with American musicians.

Diamond’s last full-length album, A Boy from Tandale, dropped in 2018, was followed by the First of All EP in 2022.

As fans eagerly await his latest masterpiece, many speculate that this release could set the tone for Bongo Flava in 2025.

With Ramadan around the corner, Diamond's timing could not be better, giving fans plenty of time to immerse themselves in the new tracks before the Holy Month begins.
