Harmonize launches talent search in southern Tanzania

Renowned Tanzanian musician Harmonize has announced a two-day talent search aimed at discovering and nurturing emerging artistes in his hometown, Mtwara and Lindi.

The initiative, set to take place just before Eid Mosi, will offer young talents a platform to showcase their musical abilities in Southern Tanzania.

Set to be held at Rwangwa, Lindi, on March 27, 2025, followed by Mtwara Mjini on March 28, 2025 with Master J, Lulu Diva, Wema Sepetu, DJ Seven, Kimambo and BBoy as judges.

Harmonize hopes to uncover fresh musical talent and potentially introduce the next big name in Tanzanian music. 

He has urged aspiring artistes to take this opportunity seriously, emphasising that dedication and exposure could be the key to launching a successful career.

With the growing influence of Bongo Flava and the rise of international collaborations, this initiative could be a stepping stone for Southern Tanzania’s hidden gems.
