705 Form One students not in school

 Kahama District Commissioner, Mr Vita Kawawa announced this as he toured secondary schools in the regions.


 Kahama. At least 705 pupils, selected to join Form One in Kahama, Msalala and Ushetu districts, have not reported to school.

 Kahama District Commissioner, Mr Vita Kawawa announced this as he toured secondary schools in the regions.

He has directed officials from the Education Department to investigate why the issue.

“Perhaps they have joined private schools or  are still at home for one reason or another. We have to find out,” said the DC.

He directed civic leaders to cooperate with the Education Department and trace the students.
