Dar es Salaam. The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat of Tanzania is set to hold its 53rd annual meeting with a focus on the essential themes of child upbringing, the cultivation of responsible youth, and the advancement of human rights from September 27-29 in Kitonga, Msongola ward.

This remarks were made on September 24 by Secretary General of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Tanzania, Seif Hassan, during a press briefing at the event's opening.

He highlighted that the annual meeting will serve as a platform for both believers and non-believers to engage with insightful speeches and guidance from community experts.

Discussions will focus on effective parenting strategies, with a particular emphasis on balancing children's religious and secular education.

“We must strive to be good citizens by living peacefully with everyone and adhering to the laws of the country,” Seif noted.

He also urged attendees to avoid mixing religion with politics, warning that such a combination can lead to confusion and create opportunities for misuse by politicians or exploitation by religious figures for personal gain.

On the other hand, the Amir and missionary in charge of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Tanzania, Khawaja Muzaffar Ahmad, reinforced the meeting’s goal of nurturing a deep-rooted devotion to God.

“These meetings are reminders for all our brothers to strengthen their fear of God, as this fear prevents evil deeds. Peace is fostered, which in turn reduces wrongdoing among everyone,” he stated.

Furthermore, he emphasized that prioritizing love for faith and devotion to God over worldly desires is essential for fostering peace.

“When people put the love of God first, corruption will diminish, terrorism will decline, and the country will experience true peace,” he explained.

The meeting is expected to attract participants from various African nations, including Kenya, Uganda, and Ghana, fostering a rich exchange of ideas and cultures.

This year’s theme, “Islam Means Peace and Humility,” reinforces the idea that humility is essential for achieving harmony with the Creator.

As the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat prepares for this impactful annual meeting, anticipation is building.

The gathering promises to inspire a commitment to nurturing future generations, grounded in love, respect, and mutual understanding.
